So on Tuesday we drove 35 miles up to Hollywood to go to Universal Studios. It took about 1 1/2 hours in nasty LA traffic. We spent the day going to all the cool shows, studio tour and character greetings. (The kids are too small to do any of the rides.) It was a nice relaxed day, but then we had to drive back in the nasty traffic again.
On Wednesday, we got up and checked out. Then we drove back down to San Diego. We spent some time on Coronado Island, then drove to the airport. We left nice 60 degree weather and returned to SLC and a foot of snow.
It was a great vacation. Amelia lost her shy side around strangers, Isaac learned a little more patience, and the whole family grew a little bit closer. It was great!
